Cross Country season is underway in Coconut Creek with three teams in action.
Coconut Creek High School ran in Tradewinds Park during their first race, led by Timothy Wint of the boys’ team. He placed 10th with a time of 19.58.5 and was followed by John Jacques and Livensky Badio. Farah Charles ran for the girls as they then all competed together in the next race a week later.
Despite finishing with a slower time, Wint came in fifth in the second race, while the team also finished in fifth place. Joh Jazques was next to finish while Andrew Loiser, Rhoando Mallette, and Farah Charles all placed within six spots of each other.
Monarch High School also participated and featured Brian Colquhoun, who came in 39th place. Landon Kerlegrand also ran and finished three spots back ahead of Adrian Graham and Matthew James. Sophia Ortega, Zoe Rodriguez, and Ja’meria Griffin were all in action as well for the Knights.
North Broward Prep came in second place in their last race at the Spanish River XC Invitational 43rd Annual 2025, highlighted by Willis Gillis placing second with a time of 16:22.2. Eric Levy was next to finish in 37th place, followed by Caden Nassar, Levi Bekker, Ari Arbel, Daniel Robles, and Alexander Vafai. Christoper Rose had the best time for the junior varsity team, running alongside Josh Dewey and Penelope Boulton.
