Coconut Creek Football started the season with a win after Boyd Anderson High School forfeited the game on Friday night.
The Cougars were coming off a dominating win against Monarch High School in the Kickoff Classic after winning six games last season.
Coconut Creek also moved to 1-0 for the sixth straight season and will head to Georgia in their next game against Gainesville High School on Friday, August 1 at 7:30 p.m. The Red Elephants are 2-0 this year and scored 34 points in both games after going 14-1 last season.
