A Coral Springs-based engineering company, known for its bold, hands-on approach to robotics education, is launching a new summer camp designed for young tech enthusiasts ready to go beyond traditional STEM programs.
Xai Robotics, founded by Parkland couple Isai Damier and Annalise Joseph Damier, is offering a full-day summer engineering camp for students ages 10 to 19. Unlike most camps, this one skips pre-made kits entirely as participants design, build, code, and test real robots from the ground up.
Each morning, students dive into the technical side of engineering, with lessons in CAD, breadboarding, or programming. Afternoons are more relaxed, allowing campers to continue working on their builds or take a break with chess, virtual reality, or engineering-themed games.
“It’s not just about following directions,” said Isai. “They’re learning how to prototype, solve problems, and actually bring their ideas to life with real tools and mentorship.”
Sessions are tailored to meet students where they are: whether they’re complete beginners or already advanced builders. While most attendees fall between 14 and 18, curious and motivated preteens are also welcome.
According to the Damiers, many students sign up for multiple weeks. Each session features a different project that results in a unique, fully functional robot.
Xai Robotics first made headlines in Coral Springs for launching an ambitious engineering education center focused on innovation and accessibility. The couple has continued to expand their programming, with a mission to empower the next generation of builders and problem solvers.
Early bird registration for the summer program is now open, with limited spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information or to register, visit xairobotics.com/camp.
