It was a historic week for teams in Coconut Creek, highlighted by a national championship push and several programs celebrating their seniors while continuing strong seasons across multiple sports.
Coming off a fifth straight state championship, the North Broward Prep hockey team continued to make history by becoming the first team in school history to go 3-0 in pool play at nationals. The Eagles recorded wins over Sun Valley High (3-0), Des Moines High School (4-3), and Notre Dame Prep (3-2) before ultimately falling later in the competition.
On the baseball field, the Eagles honored seniors Jack Rostock, Adrian Rodriguez, Adolfo Camacho, and Rodrigo Lithgow during senior night. They opened the week with a 1-0 win over West Boca Raton Community High School, managing just one hit—an RBI single from Jonathan Rodriguez.
